Bio
James Collison is a U.S. Patent Attorney and Intellectual Property Lawyer who has lived and worked in the U.S., Australia, Hong Kong, and Singapore. A California licensed lawyer, James graduated from the School of Law at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) after studying Mathematics-Computer Science and Political Science at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD). James also completed a master’s degree in finance at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
James has experience working in many areas of intellectual property law, including patents, designs, trade marks, copyright, and domain name disputes. He has drafted and obtained patents relating to computer-implemented systems, electronic devices, semiconductor technologies, and mechanical devices. He has also been involved in IP litigation and enforcement in the U.S. and China.
James is currently working in Singapore as IP Counsel for a technology company. Previously, James worked with several different law firms in Hong Kong.
